Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Description:

Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a Dental Assistant to work Full-Time (40 hours per week). The schedule is for 4 ten-hour days, Monday through Thursdays from 6:00am through 4:30pm. This Full-Time Dental Assistant position is located between 2 facilities: the Donaldson Correctional Institution in Bessemer and St. Clair Correctional Facility in Springville, AL. This position is a rewarding, low stress alternative to private practice dentistry. MAH offers full benefits to full time positions including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, significant paid time off, paid holidays, health savings, and flex spending. NO late nights or weekends!! Requires occasional Saturday or Sunday once monthly to assist oral surgeon. Pay is $16 plus per hour.

Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Duties:

Routine chairside duties include preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care. No ortho, crown & bridge, or endo required. Administrative duties are also required.

Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Qualifications:

1 year experience and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred.

MUST have CPR for Healthcare Providers.
