Production Worker - Carpet Layer/ Install

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Summary Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs all manual labor in the area of carpet/padding installation.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Keeps area neat and clean.
• Read and use a tape measure.
• Read blueprints and orders.
• Communicate well with coworkers.
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing, preferably carpet installation.
