Must be available to accept shifts for at least 3 of the following days:

• Sunday
• Monday
• Friday
• Saturday

Wage: $14.00-$16.00

We believe in flexibility and offer various work schedules on a variety of home assignments, ensuring you can find the perfect fit for your lifestyle. With 4-hour, and 8-hour shift availability, you can choose what works best for you. 

Duties:

• Asist Clients with ADLs: Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide medication reminders
• Meal Preparation: Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks: including laundry and tidying up living spaces
• Provide Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings
• Provide emotional support: Engage in meaningful conversations
• Monitor and Report: changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor

As a BrightStar Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you'll make a significant impact on the lives of your clients by providing essential personal care services, including toileting, feeding, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments and activities. Your role in assisting with active and passive mobility work will be vital, and your observations will be communicated to the Director of Nursing.

Requirements:

• Certified CPR and First Aid- Ensuring you're prepared for emergencies.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray - Ensuring a safe environment for everyone.
• Pre-Employment Physical
• Valid Driver's License- This position requires transporting clients
• Reliable Transportation - Reach your clients with ease and reliability as well as provide your clients with transportation to and from appointments. 
• Current Auto Insurance- as required by the state of Nevada
• Current Auto Registration
• Ability to Work with Domestic Animals - Our clients have pets and treat them as family members!
• Adherence to HIPAA and Client Confidentiality - Trust is fundamental in caregiving.
• Strong Communication Skills in English - Foster meaningful connections with clients.
• Physical Ability - Be ready to assist with mobility and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to transfer clients from bed to wheelchair
•  Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Caregiver/ PCA- Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience working as a Caregiver or PCA, ideally in a Home Health or Assisted Living related setting.
