Senior Tax Accountant - CPA

We are a fast-growing accounting firm located in Southern California. We are seeking an experienced tax accountant to help serve its growing business.

Primary responsibilities include income tax preparation for business entities and individuals, financial statement preparation, and frequent communication with management and clients.

We are looking for a problem solver that is detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities of the position:

• Preparation of income tax returns: Individuals, Partnerships, Corporations, Trusts, and etc.
• Speak with clients regarding tax planning and strategies for businesses and their owners
• Prepare financial statements for business clients.
• Supervise bookkeepers who prepare the financial statements, bank reconciliations, payroll, and sales tax.

Requirements for the position:

• CPA required
• Minimum of 3-5 years of corporate and individual income tax preparation.
• Must be able to perform tax research independently 
• Must have strong general ledger and financial statement skills
• Efficient in managing multiple clients
• Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide excellent service
• Works well with others
• Has knowledge of working with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online. The more experience with this the better.
