Night Mechanic

Work schedule is from 4:00pm - 12:30am

Atlas Tree is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, energetic heavy equipment gas & diesel engine Mechanic. You should be a driven, self-starter with great attention to detail who’s looking to work with an awesome company with lots of opportunities for growth.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to troubleshoot gas and diesel engines

• Electrical systems experience

• Must be able to read and understand manuals, schematics, and parts breakdowns

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Motivated and willing to take directions

• Practice safety and caution procedures

• Experience on tree equipment i.e. chippers, grinders, a plus.

DUTIES WILL ALSO INCLUDES, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Perform and assists in the preventative maintenance of trucks, trailers, light and heavy equipment

• Inspect, service, grease, and lubricate automotive parts and equipment

• Replace and repair tires

• Change oils and filters; adjust brakes and services batteries

Skills/Experience: 

• Ability to work independently and in a group.
• Ability to learn quickly and to follow instructions accurately. 
• Must be able to push or pull up to 70 pounds. 
• Must be able to work in all types of weather and at extreme temperatures.
• May be exposed to higher-than-average risk of work-related injuries and illnesses from exposure to dangerous working conditions, machinery, and heights.
