Experienced Host/Hostess at Tarla Grill

Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome

- Seat guests and provide them with menus

- Assist in managing reservations and waitlists

- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station

- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

- Monitor dining areas to ensure guest satisfaction

- Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy

Experience:

- Previous experience in customer service or guest relations is preferred

-Familiar with Opentable

- Familiarity with restaurant operations and food service procedures is a plus

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes

- Proficient in using POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for order entry and table management

- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $17.00 - $30.00/hour.
