Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Vancouver Wellness Studio in downtown Vancouver, WA is hiring a Mental Health Counselor or Marriage and Family Therapist to join their Collaborative, Multidisciplinary Healthcare Team. LMHC, LMFT, LICSW or Associates are welcome to apply. This is an empathetic, supportive, and non-competitive work environment where we value diversity and inclusion. This is a W-2 position. Our ideal candidate has at least 1-3 years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals and couples, is interested in being trained in EMDR Therapy, and has an interest in working with First Responders.

$50 - $60 hourly

• Develop specific therapy plans with goals and objectives for individual patients
• Recommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in need
• Reassess patient situations and provide appropriate follow-up care based on their current needs
• Assess patients’ mental condition based on review of medical information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members

• Interest and ability to see at least 15+ clients per week. Interest in growing beyond that to 20-25 is preferred
• Excited to be part of a team, and collaborate on behalf of patients with team members from different disciplines
• Availability to work Wednesday (meetings and supervision), Thursday - Sunday with clients is preferred. Other shift options can be discussed
• Must have excellent and compassionate communication and professionalism
• Competency in working with Trauma, and interest in being trained in EMDR Therapy

• Current and unrestricted state license as an LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) or equivalent
• Must have 1-3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting

• Must have a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling or Social Work and an active license to practice counseling in WA State
• We are looking for candidates who do not want to maintain a private practice while working on our team, and who would like to grow to full-time with us
• Must be comfortable with working in a private pay/out-of-network environment, and serving our local first responders in-network on one insurance panel
