We're on the lookout for a motivated individual to join our Development Team as a Development Administrative Coordinator, where you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our mission and making an impact on the lives of animals in need.
With guidance from our Chief Development Officer, you'll ensure everything runs smoothly and create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone involved. From visitors to volunteers, donors to staff, you'll set the stage for success in every interaction.
Duties Include:
- Greets office visitors, handles information requests, answers calls, and provides admin support to development team
- Assists data team with data entry
- Supports Development Team with letter generation, mailings, and general office tasks
- Maintains Major Gift Acknowledgement Report and coordinates donor recognition gifts
- Coordinates and schedules major donor recognition gifts for personal donor milestones: holidays, family events, birthdays, etc.
- Assists with the print materials and supplies for in-house development solicitations: Leadership Circle, Women's Leadership Council, Membership, Monthly Donors
- Manages tribute program and oversees volunteer assistance
- Handles general office supplies and equipment maintenance
- Cultivates a professional and collaborative environment
- Manages multiple tasks effectively
- May also assist in coding department invoices, assist with Event Sponsorship tracking, monitors department email boxes, assists with in-person donations, and manages Memorial Park Program
Qualifications include:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- 1 - 3 years of experience in database entry in a fundraising office or similar setting, preferably with exposure to Raiser's Edge
- Must be knowledgeable with computer programs, including entire Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to manage multiple deadlines and handle a high volume of data entry
- Exhibit excellent internal and external customer service skills
