CNC Programmer Machinist
Location: Woodside, NY
Schedule: Full Time, Mon-Fri, Day Shift (8am-4:45pm)
*Overtime 1.5x hourly pay after 8hrs, potentially available after 8hrs or on weekends*
Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 DOE

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
-2-5 Years PROGRAMMING and OPERATING CNC machinery
-Self-sufficient in programming and set-up
-Familiar with Fanuc controls, Haas (Mill) machines (VF-0, VF-2, VF-0E ) and proficient with MasterCam.
-Must have the ability to execute a program from start to finish and have the ability to train/instruct other machinists.

-Experience running Haas machines with Fanuc controllers is strongly preferred.

JOB DUTIES:
You will be required to take a job from an inbound file, or generated 3D geometry and program (offline - using Mastercam), set up and run the part, handing off a machine-finished piece for further processes. Due to the nature of prototyping, there will be a high ratio of set-up time to programming time. The CNC Programmer Machinist must be able to efficiently work on several diverse projects per day and respond in a nimble way to changes in priority. The ability to work with and assist other departmental members when needed is important.

Materials primarily used are cast acrylic, aluminum (7075), tooling board, and occasionally other materials such as brass.

Our facility houses a comprehensive range of services including: 7 CNC machines, CAD department, Urethane and Silicon molding, Rapid Prototyping, 3D scanning and LASER cutting, custom color matching, finishing and graphics, etc.
