• 5 - 10 years of experience practicing law

Clients:

• California Public School Districts
• Charter Schools
• Public Safety Districts (Police and Fire)

Practice:

• Student Discipline
• Human Resources Policy
• Investigations
• Governance and Administrative Law
• Employment Litigation and Personnel Advice & Counsel
• Labor Law and Labor Relations
• Business/Facilities Transactions

Labor and employment or public entity legal experience is preferred but optional.

They are looking for the right person rather than the right practice background.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Admission to the State Bar of California

Note: If you handle an area of law such as worker's compensation, personal injury cases, commercial litigation, family law, labor & employment in the private sector, wage & hour, PAGA, or work with public safety unions, manage insurance litigation cases, practice within the public defender's office, or district attorney's office, or within a non-profit organization, the firm will train in the specific areas of law such school law, municipal law, third-party investigations, collective bargaining for school districts or special districts, firm leadership, representing and advising public entities, conducting client trainings, public speaking, being in front of labor boards and school boards, and administrative hearings according to your needs and interests and the firm's needs.
