Express Employment Professionals is actively looking for a Lead Quality Engineer for a great Manufacturing company in San Clemente.
This is a Direct Hire opportunity for 1st shift with occasional overtime.
Paying $80k-$110k Annually with Quarterly Commissions
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Director of Quality, you will be playing a key role in the development and recommendations for quality specifications.
Serve as the management representative to;
-Ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are documented
-Reporting to top management on the effectiveness of the quality management system and any need for
improvement
-Ensure the promotion of awareness of applicable regulatory requirements and quality management
system and any need for improvement
-Conduct research
-Manage quality activities
-Oversees internal audits
-Manages and conducts external customer and supplier audits
-Document Control Contributes to the development of processes and procedures
-Visit customers and suppliers
-Prepare error reports
-Participate in hiring, training and overall direction of the facility
-Oversee the Quality Staff (Quality Engineer and Quality Tech)
-Other various tasks as needed to support customer requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-BS degree Quality Engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing operations (10+ years)
-Travel is required for various support of projects and tasks
-Experience managing and delegating task to quality team
-Must be a U.S. Person per EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15
-This is a full-time, on-site position and cannot be supported remotely without approval from President
-Knowledge in SMT
