Supervisor Auditor

Responsibilities:

• Manage audit risk assessment and develop risk based audit program, leveraging data analysis. Also evaluate potential impact deficiencies might have on the business.
• Manage audit lifecycle and interview process owners.
• Execute and manage testing procedures that address high risk areas.
• Identify control gaps, improvement opportunities, and recommendations.
• Ensure reperformance standards include test attributes, associated risks, test conclusions, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the Companys SOX 404 program.
• Ensure the completion of audit remediations.
• Collaborate with process owners to reinforce the importance of maintaining strong controls.
• Maintain strong relationship with business leaders
• Serve as a trusted business partner, providing expertise with operational and SOX audits
• Assist with mentioning and training junior team members, prepare evaluations on their projects and participate in setting performance objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting is required.
• MBA, or CPA, CIA, CISA, CISM strongly preferred
• 4-5 years of experience in auditing (internal/external)
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) required.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP & IFRS and IIA standards required.
• Excel/Word/PowerPoint
• Experience in life science industry a plus
