Dental Assistant Position

We are an upscale private prosthodontic dental practice with an immediate opening for a full time expanded functions dental assistant with a can do attitude! We are looking for the right person to join our team. Our practice uses cutting edge technology, goes the extra mile, treats every patient like family, and we are growing!

At least 3 Years experience in dental assisting field required; surgical experience is a plus. We are an EOE.

Primary Job Duties Include:

Assist with Dental treatments as instructed
Follow office policies and systems
Take and record dental histories and patient records
Prepare instruments; clean treatment areas; sterilize equipment
Responsible for patient flow, keeping treatment rooms & lab neat and organized
Instruct patients in oral hygiene
Being accountable and reliable
Manage supply inventory
Front Office Support, including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, maintaining files, as needed

Ideal Candidate:

Experienced ROCK STAR assistant, able to perform 4 handed dentistry
Comfortable with knowing or learning cutting edge techniques
A person that has the desire to develop and excel
Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
Strong Organizational skills
Must be articulate and patient-oriented
Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
Reliable and prompt; available for at least 35 hours per week
Works well in a TEAM environment, with humor, enthusiasm and joyful consideration of everyone in the practice
Resides within 35 minutes of our office.
