Clinical Data Technician

The Clinical Data Technician will work with the Clinical Data Team. Primary focus of this position is managing the clinical data for BioIVT products.

CLINICAL DATA TECHNICIAN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working in the Clinical Data Management System

• Entering donor data

• Review and sign off of data

• Work with internal and external teams to follow up on any deficiencies

• Completing Clinical Data tasks in the Laboratory Information Management System for any Direct to Client shipments

• Sending data builds / any additional data requests & documentation to customers

• Work with internal stakeholders to prioritize data requests and data related questions

• Work to decrease and maintain a low backlog of samples with no data

• Escalate any issues to management

• Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Medical Data Transcription experience preferred

• Strong proficiency with Word and Outlook, and Excel

• Experience with an ERP system (inventory and order preparation software) a plus

• Familiarity with biotechnology, laboratory production, or biobanking terminology is highly desirable
