Job Description

We are seeking Full Time Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team! We love it if you are also telemetry certified.

Local Kansas City jobs and rural travel jobs in KS and MO.

Responsibilities:

Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care
Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care is in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice and unit structure standards
Sign-on bonuses are based on qualifying criteria
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention

Qualifications:

At least a year of recent experience in medical surgical nursing required
BLS certification required
ACLS preferred
Familiarity with medical software and equipment
Ability to build rapport with patients
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
