This is a full-time role working Sunday through Thursday from 10am to 6:30pm
Our Stock Clerk:
- Receives, stores, and issues food, and food supplies, as well as some items for the larger community.
- Receives all items and verifies them against the invoice, dates the items when they are received, and places them in their assigned areas of storage.
- Keeps record of all requisitioned items from other departments, food spoilage, with the in-house tracking system
- Identify during delivery of items, any item that is damaged and communicate that information to the Chef.
- Fills orders, issues supply from current stock and rotates stock to ensure freshness
- Provides security for all stock in the store room, refrigerators, and freezers as well as a paper and chemical room
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas by sweeping and mopping
- May move or transport materials or supplies to other areas in the community using carts/electric hand truck

Physical requirements
- Significant walking
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
