Welding Supervisor Assistant

We are seeking a Welding Supervisor Assistant to become an integral part of our team! The Supervisor Assistant Will Coordinate with Welding Supervisor and help manage schedules to meet production demand.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Supervisor in preparing jobs for weekly production.
• Coordinate with other Supervisors or management to resolve any issues that could prevent the production schedule from being met.
• Work with the Engineering Department to resolve any issues that arrive during the build process that could result in a Quality, Safety, or performance issue with the product being produced.
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
• Ensure individual and employee compliance with all safety rules and requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
• Ability to operate a computer and use basic database, spreadsheet, word-processing and email programs.
• Aptitude to learn and retain new information.
• Must be a self-directed individual with initiative.
• Ability to handle physical workload
