Job Description
Registered Nurse - RN ER
Responsibilities:
- As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide nursing care on cases ranging from minor injuries to acutely or critically ill patients in a Level II Trauma Center. We have an amazing and fast acting team who work together in stressful situations, always putting the patients first.
- Ensures completion of nursing interventions, medical orders, and other related therapies.
- Delegates appropriately to ensure the implementation of the plan of care while ensuring patient safety.
- May serve as a mentor/coach, a code blue leader and/or RRT responder.
- Consistently utilizes appropriate communication tools such as Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation, and Question (SBARQ) when communicating within the interdisciplinary team and when handing off patient care.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS
- PALS within six months of hire.
- TNCC within 2 years of hire.
