We are looking for certified electricians in the Pacific NW with a strong technical background, the ability to work independently or alongside a team and a willingness to take responsibility for the highest standards of work.

We’re a leading provider of energy efficiency and energy monitoring solutions, providing key technology retrofits in the ongoing battle against Climate Change. Not to worry if you haven’t worked in this sector before, as long as you have strong commercial electrical experience and a willingness to configure software applications for monitoring - we can teach the rest.

Our ideal candidates will take pride in high level installations at our partner sites, ensuring excellence throughout. You will be comfortable travelling in the role - overnight stays may be required from time to time.

The Role

As a GreenIQ Electrical Installation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for visiting sites across the PNW region - installing the GreenIQ energy management systems (EMS) in a variety of commercial businesses. Using your professional skills and experience, you’ll be expected to work either alone or as part of a team. Your role will center around the physical installation of the hardware, and also IT and Networking knowledge are also valuable for the commissioning process.

• Work to SLA agreements and timeframes
• Install our range of EMS system for our direct customers
• Assist/Manage our 3rd party Contractors with installations
• Support and train our 3rd party Electrical contractors within your area
• Report issues back to our R&D team
• Liaise with the Energy Services team and feedback any issues
• Use our Support Desk to log faults
• Communicate with stakeholders
• Opportunity for advancement to managing contractors and building teams across US

The experience we are looking for in an Installation Electrician.

• Proven Experience as a certified electrician with valid license
• Driving license - essential
• Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems with commercial kitchens being a bonus
• HVAC and Electrical monitoring/BMS system experience also a bonus
• Basic Networking knowledge around Internet/wireless connectivity
• Documentation within systems for detailed IOT energy usage tracking a must
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with equipment manufacturer
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
