Responsibilities:

• Create detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD software, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to understand project requirements and translate conceptual designs into technical drawings.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
• Revise and update drawings as necessary throughout the design and construction phases.
• Coordinate with project team members to integrate design changes and resolve technical issues.
• Assist in the preparation of permit and construction documents, including compiling drawing sets and specifications.
• Maintain organized digital and physical drawing files, ensuring accessibility and version control.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AutoCAD technology to enhance drafting efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in drafting, architecture, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter in an architectural firm or related industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software, with advanced knowledge of drafting techniques and tools.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with team members and communicate technical information clearly.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Familiarity with Revit and other architectural software is a plus.
