Job Description
Calculated Solutions Group, a leading Staffing Agency in Birmingham, is currently seeking a skilled HVAC Duct Installer to join our clients growing team. We are known for providing exceptional customer service and high-quality results to our clients. As an HVAC Duct Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC duct systems in commercial settings.Responsibilities
- Install HVAC duct systems according to specifications and industry standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine optimal duct system layout.
- Fabricate and assemble duct sections using hand and power tools.
- Seal and insulate ducts using appropriate materials.
- Install dampers, grilles, and registers to ensure proper airflow and distribution.
- Collaborate with other trades professionals to plan and execute HVAC projects.
- Test and balance HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as an HVAC Duct Installer.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC duct systems and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Experience with HVAC tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy materials.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
