Construction Equipment Shop Service Technician

Chappell Tractor has an opening in our Service Department located in Brentwood, NH for a Shop Service Technician.

The position involves:

• preparing units for delivery and performing periodic service & maintenance.
• Repairing equipment including engine, transmission, rear/front axle and hydraulic cylinder overhaul
• Diagnose and repair light construction equipment in the shop.

To be considered for this position:

• must have prior experience working as a technician in a service department at an equipment, truck or automotive dealership.
• graduated from a technical or vocational school and be knowledgeable with all major mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems found in this type of equipment
• Experience servicing diesel engines and welding is a plus.
