The Program Manager provides supervision and capacity building to a diverse team of social service professionals with the goal of providing excellent case management and mental health services to refugees and foreign-born clients. Special focus on quality assurance and adherence to grant obligations and outcomes within the program and state grants.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Crisis Intervention & Stabilization Services (limited).
  • Document all services in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to guidelines on mandated reporting.
  • Oversee the design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of the applicable programs, products and services.
  • Complete monthly (at minimum) quality assurance review to ensure grant & agency requirements are being met, including but not limited to file reviews for appropriate documentation; review leading indicator metrics with relevant staff & make service adjustments as needed.
  • Supervise staff and interns of varying experience levels.
  • Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.

  • Highly organized, eye for detail, specifically related to documentation & grant requirements.
  • Excellent time management.

  • Ability to work productively in a multicultural environment and demonstrate respect for differences.
  • Ability to approach and resolve problems in a detail and solution-oriented manner.


Other
  • Must have a car and a valid driver's license with proof of insurance
  • High level of language proficiency in Arabic, Farsi/Dari, Kinyarwanda, Somali, Spanish, and/or Swahili preferred (not required).
  • Additional language proficiency in Amharic, Oromo, Tigrinya a plus.


Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, MSW preferred
  • Education requirement can be offset by equivalent experience in social services.
  • 1-2 years' experience serving foreign-born populations
  • Supervision experience required
