Position: Rental Equipment Utility Worker
Reports to: Rental Manager

Job Summary: The Rental Equipment Utility Worker plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our rental equipment services. Responsibilities include minor facility maintenance, equipment check-in, basic mechanical duties, and maintaining the overall appearance of the equipment yard. The work environment includes both outdoor and shop areas, with potential exposure to various weather conditions and minimal exposure to hazards.
Position Duties:
- Perform minor facility maintenance and upkeep to ensure a safe and organized working environment.
- Conduct equipment check-in procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Carry out basic mechanical duties on machines, such as routine inspections and oil changes.
- Clean machines to maintain a neat appearance and arrange equipment in the yard according to classification.
- Keep the equipment yard, wash bay, and parts room clean, organized, and professional-looking at all times.
- Clean and prepare equipment for servicing and repairs.
- Grease, lube, and service equipment as assigned by the coordinator or Rental Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in designated areas, including the deadline, service line, and equipment staging areas.
Requirements:
- Entry-level position; prior experience with technical or farming equipment is a plus.
- Basic mechanical aptitude required.
- High school education with technical training is preferred.
Job Location:
- Company headquarters – 5550 Poindexter Dr, Indianapolis IN (on site)
- This position will be onsite and in-person in Indianapolis, IN.
