For printing / laminating / converting business

We are looking for a full-time Quality Control/Lab Technician for our manufacturing plant in Warminster, PA. Finish Tech is in the laminating/printing/converting business. Knowledge or experience in plastic films, converting, laminating, or printing/converting is useful, but we will train the right candidate. Position is ideal for students pursuing chemistry/science degrees or retiring, experienced people still wanting to work. Good opportunity to advance.

Duties include:

Run product quality checks
Insure production documentation and sample retains are complete and filed
Perform laboratory testing for raw material inspection and new product development
Data entry in Quality Control system
Maintain lab testing equipment and supplies
Housekeeping of QC Lab area to ensure safe, organized and compliant environmental conditions
Work with both vendors and customers directly using excellent communication skills

Requirements:

Minimum of high school diploma. No college degree necessary.
Candidate should have interest in science and good math skills.
Good oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work in a cross functional team environment, collaborating with others or working independently
Good computer skills - should have a working knowledge of Word, Excel and Access
Daytime hours
Valid driver's license
