Summit Contracting Group, Inc. is currently looking for a Construction Project Administrator. The Project Administrator provides the knowledge, skills, and experience required to manage the day-to-day administrative tasks of a multifamily construction project.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Functions include the following. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Project Administrators are responsible for assisting Project Managers with Sub/Vendor relations, contracts, certificates of insurance, change orders, and other various project related tasks.

  • Support Project Managers with administrating project related items.
  • Obtain the knowledge to productively process documents through Procore and DocuSign.
  • Correspond with Owner, Project Manager, Field-team, Subcontractors and Vendors.
  • Create and track all Owner Change Orders and Proposed Change Orders.
  • Create contracts and purchase orders as directed by Project Manager. Additionally, create all subcontract change orders as directed.
  • Review documents for changes and submit to the appropriate person.
  • Ensure all documents are scanned and saved on the project drive, in the project files and sent to the jobsite.
  • Process all contract drawings and subsequent revisions. Issue to field team.
  • Track requirements of subcontractors’ bonds as directed by Project Manager.
  • Prepare Monthly Owner Report for Owner Back Page.
  • Assist Project Manager on Submittal process and follow up.
  • Organize and distribute start up and close out packages (kits).
  • Proficient In Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Construction Background is a plus.
  • Familiar with Subcontracts, W9’s, COI’s.
  • Knowledge of Procore and DocuSign is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Certified Payroll a plus.

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Preferred Qualifications include the following.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associates Degree is a plus
  • Minimum 1 year of construction administrative experience; multifamily construction is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to carry out instructions via written, oral form
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Procore, DocuSign and Email
  • Ability to multi-task and provide attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a larger team

Work Environment

  • This is not a remote position
