CNC MILL AND LATHE MACHINIST PROGRAMMER

Job summary

We are currently seeking experienced personnel to supplement our fabrication department in the position of CNC MACHINIST PROGRAMMER for CNC Lathes and CNC mills. Starting wage range offered is listed. If your experience is exceptional we will discuss compensation to suit. 

Position responsibilities

• Read blueprints/files sent to our Machining Department digitally
• PROGRAM HAAS mill and lathe to maximize production output
• Utilize your exceptional CNC experience to spot potential issues and offer reasonable solutions as a member of the team.
• Ensure that all machine maintenance is up to date and recorded
• Make and design parts in cooperation with our Engineering Department
• Follow all company rules
• Be willing to put in the time necessary to meet production schedules

Requirements

• Verifiable 5+ years of experience as a HAAS CNC programmer and operator
• High school education with excellent communication skills in English
• Must be able to climb a ladder, work standing for extended periods of time, and lift 50-lbs unaided
• Employ superior thinking and comprehension skills to contribute to producing the best work possible in the least amount of time in a results driven playing field. Be able to self-manage your time according to build schedules.
• Work hands-on and learn the safe operation of other factory CNC machines
• Be willing to work 1st shift and some Saturday mornings as necessary to maintain the production schedule
