Job Title: Jr. Web Designer

Reports To: Head of Engineering

Summary:

We are seeking a talented Junior Web Designer with a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites and applications. In this role, you will work with our engineering and design team to design and launch functional and high-performing websites while ensuring optimal visual consistency and user experience. This expert is a Figma professional and have a working proficiency of Figma Component Library and the ability to change designs components and elements.

Must haves:

• Figma proficiency and a good understanding of CSS and HTML structures to implement design layouts effectively
• Collaborate with developers to translate Figma designs into clean, responsive HTML and CSS code
• Work effectively with Figma components to ensure design consistency and efficient workflow.
• Assist with the creation and upkeep of design systems and style guides
• Stay up to date with web design trends and best practices
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating pixel-perfect user interfaces.
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines, both independently and collaboratively
• Team player with excellent collaborative skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Great sense of design and user experience best practice and the ability to keep up with emerging trends

Desired skills:

• Experience with responsive design and frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or others)
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
• Experience designing responsive websites with Figma, knowledge of Developer Mode is a plus!
