Disabilities Caregiver - CNA - Home Health Aide

I am seeking a compassionate, friendly and dedicated Caregiver. You will be working specifically with one private female client to provide essential assistance and support. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

You will be working for one private female client and you will be compensated directly through the clients insurance.

Client lives in Salisbury, NC on High Rock Lake and has a pool that she does aqua therapy in during the warmer months, creating an opportunity for you to swim with her during the summer!

Duties:

• Provide direct support and assistance to the client in her daily activities
• Assist with meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met
• Provide personal care, including and up to bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed, fall precautions
• Keeping client safe during ambulation
• Gathering supplies to help the client maintain continuous fluid infusion via IV pump
• Gathering supplies for client to change insulin pump as needed
• Gathering supplies and assisting in wound care management
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Laundry, light house keeping, and some chores
• Maintain safe, clean, and decluttered environment
• Occasionally run errands like taking to grocery store or pharmacy
• Respect and uphold clients dignity at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required
• Willing to fill out application and consent to a criminal background check
• Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
• Strong communication skills
• Ability and willingness to follow instructions
• Flexibility to adapt to changing weekly schedules
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to different tasks depending on clients current medical conditions
