Job Description

ProActive Physical Therapy and Wellness is seeking a Part Time (hourly) Physical Therapist Assistant to serve our patients in our outpatient clinic at the following location:

  • 812 Lyndon, Ln Suite #101, Lyndon KY, 40222

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in physical therapy as evidenced by a college diploma.
  • Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Kentucky.
  • CPR certification
  • CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist) preferred

The Mission of the Role

To ensure that the patients of our practice receive world class customer care on top of the best possible physical therapy care. Success in this role will be measured on successful treatment outcomes, customer satisfaction, the on-time and correct documentation of clinical notes as well the meticulous upkeep of relationships with existing and past patients of the practice.

Job Purpose:

Because we are growing, we are looking for a part time physical therapist assistant to join our team. In this role you’ll be helping our practice to continue to grow and provide a world class physical therapy service to more patients in our community. You must be someone who puts people skills ahead of clinical skills and you must be a true team player. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate extraordinary attention to detail. Though our primary focus is physical therapy we place a large emphasis on the wellness side of the company (i.e. personal training, manual therapies and stretch). This position will allow an individual to not only utilize their physical therapy skills but also their manual therapy and functional training skills as patients transition from physical therapy to wellness. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure that patients achieve their clinical and health/lifestyle outcomes (in the time frame set)
  • Develop a life-long relationship with patients that benefits both the patient and the clinic
  • Confidently communicate the value of our service and your skills during the conversation about price
  • Ensure that 95% of your patients arrive for their treatment as scheduled
  • Increase referrals by providing a high level of customer care and service to all of your patients
  • Ensure that every patient complete a plan of care that they agree too
  • Ensure that clinical notes are kept up to date and accurate
  • Participate in, contribute to, and help to develop the in-house educational training program that is provided to all physical therapists/physical therapist assistants
  • Assist in the production of in-clinic workshops, trade shows and other marketing events.
  • Be on hand to participate in and contribute to the clinics social media activity
  • Do patient call backs without being asked and be willing to speak to patients who have dropped off schedule.

  • Above average physical therapy skills that will be developed continuously

  • Ability to plan work so that it is completed on time
  • Able to create one on one functional training programs and group training program for individuals 45+
