The law firm of Silverman Theologou LLP, with offices in the Washington, DC, Richmond, VA, Los Angeles, CA, and Fort Lauderdale, FL metropolitan areas is a creditors rights and business law firm focusing primarily on commercial and consumer collections.

Our Bethesda office, located near the red line metro, seeks an efficient and enthusiastic Mail Clerk to join our team!

The ideal candidate is well-organized, can work under pressure, and possesses good communication and literacy skills. In addition, the ideal candidate must be able to lift at least 10 lbs. and function in a fast-paced environment. Must have a GED or high school diploma. At least one year of working in an office environment is preferred. Starting salary is $40,000 annually. Great opportunity for advancement!

Principal responsibilities include:

Sort and collate all incoming mail/packages and hand-deliver them to appropriate departments and personnel
Determine postage costs for domestic and foreign mail
Prepare all outgoing mail and maintain accurate tracking records
Arrange for pick-up and delivery of all outgoing mail/packages
Operate and perform routine maintenance of the mailing machine
Act as backup to Receptionist/Front Office Coordinator
Perform various administrative tasks, as needed
