Join our team as a Prototype Harness Technician responsible for fabricating prototype harnesses, creating detailed drawings and documentation to adhere to client requirements, and evaluating the comprehensive production cost of harnesses. Responsibilities: • Interpret customer requirements and schematics and build prototype wire harnesses with limited information • Consult with customers to determine customer objectives and product requirements • Formulate harness layout and prepare drawings and documentation that meet customer needs • Resolve technical issues and limitations • Establish all costs associated with the harness including production and testing methods and tools • Interface with the production team to ensure production is trained and can produce harness as designed • Formulate and document processes and equipment that facilitate the production and testing of harness • Adhere to ISO requirements related to the job area • Perform other duties reasonably related to the position Qualifications: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, specifications, and technical drawings • Ability to troubleshoot • Strong communication skills both verbal and written • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong knowledge of product lines and pricing • Working knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office • Customer service minded • Time management skills • Speak and write effectively to convey information • Able to manage one’s own workload for maximum efficiency while maintaining quality • Attendance percentage of at least 98% • Cooperate with coworkers and management • Able to work independently with minimal direction Compensation: $18+ hourly
