What you will do
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Services Technician to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and ongoing support of customer tanks and related equipment at various company and customer locations.
- Perform service work on customer tanks, meters, valves, and pumps to meet customer needs
- Examine and repair unserviceable equipment, performing routine mechanical functions like electrical, pipefitting, welding, etc.
- Provide excellent customer service through timely response, clear communication, and understanding customer needs
- Make recommendations to customers regarding equipment services
- Maintain communication with customers, sales teams, and internal staff on equipment status and plans
- Manage inventory of parts, tools, and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance
- Prepare reports on services rendered, parts used, and time spent for billing
- Document maintenance activities, inspections, and checklists
- Work safely and use proper personal protective equipment at all times
- Demonstrate company values in daily work interactions
Requirements
What you will need:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Previous pipe fitting and welding experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions like high/low temperatures, noise, confined spaces, etc.
