Moving Technician

We are looking for a strong and professional mover to join our team. You'll be responsible for providing our residential and commercial clients with excellent customer service through the entire moving process. You’ll safely load, transport, and unload the customers’ belongings. $18 - $22 hourly

• Verify the load out on the track for the day, as well as the assigned vehicle and personnel
• Contact project managers, insured individuals, and insurance adjusters before deploying for each job
• Operate a 16-26' box truck loaded with household contents to and from the job site
• Ensure the safety of all personnel at the job site
• Confirm work orders and communicate with clients on moving preferences
• Verify no items are missing with the client and team members before leaving
• Carry a variety of large, heavy, and fragile items without damaging them
• Protect furniture with moving blankets or plastic wrap
• Pack moving truck with items to be moved to new location

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Background check is required for consideration
• Reliability is essential, including punctuality and readiness to take charge of the day
• Technical proficiency in operating a smartphone is necessary
• Integrity is important, with the ability to speak up if something seems amiss
• Endurance is required for moving heavy furniture up and down stairs repeatedly
• Positive "Can Do" attitude is expected at work
• Polite interactions with colleagues and customers are necessary
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to handle projects with multiple destinations and complexity
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL) is preferred, but not required
• Must be physically fit, able to consistently lift 50 pounds alone or 100+ pounds with team members, and comfortable standing, bending, and stairs for long periods of time
• Applicant should be collaborative, reliable, and have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification
