Rough End Supervisor

BiltWise Structures, LLC is a systems built housing company based out of Greenwood, SC. We build modular houses in a factory setting. We offer great company culture, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits. The Rough End Supervisor will report to the Plant Manager and the COO. 

Title: 

Rough End Supervisor

Reports To: 

Plant Manager, COO, President

Purpose:

Responsible for leading the day-to-day operations for the rough end of the plant. Oversees rough electrical and plumbing, floor, wall, and roof departments. Responsible and coordinates actions for the first “half” of our process. 

Business Outcomes:

• All framing is straight, square, and to plan specifications
• All rough plumbing and electrical is done correctly and to plan specifications
• All rough end tradespeople are working cohesively and feel they can come to you for guidance and help

Essential Functions:

1. Day to day management: Ensuring productivity of the rough end of the shop. Ensures all projects start in a timely and organized manner. Ensures all tradespeople are working cohesively in the rough end of the plant. 

1. Employee Training: Responsible for training and development of new hires to the rough end department. Any new hires in floors, walls, and roofing will be directly your responsibility to train in modular processes and bring up to speed. Creating a welcoming environment for new hires as well as facilitating feedback. Management of new hire training and development.

1. Trade and labor needs planning: Collaborating with all trade departments, HR, and COO to predict and fulfill labor needs 

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Proficient in multiple trades
• Strong leadership skills
• Bilingual a huge plus

Education & Experience:

• Construction management or business certificate/degree a plus
• Proven history of training & development 
• Proven history of managing multiple tradespeople
• Construction experience a non-negotiable
