Graphics Designer

Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is looking for a Graphics Designer to work directly for our client, and its financial news network. This position will report to the Supervising Producer for instruction and guidance on the daily tasks required. The Graphics Designer will be responsible for production, creation and execution of broadcast graphics for all social media, VOD and live-to-tape programming. This position will require creativity, efficiency and transparent communication on time-sensitive projects. Seeking a designer to create story-telling images/illustrations/infographics with a focus on compelling, educational content.

Primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Build and update all specialized daily show graphics needs
• Develop the technical standards for VOD/social media graphic elements across the network platforms
• Ensure that all graphics elements are in line with the overall style guide for the relevant program
• Ensure that all graphic elements display correctly on various delivery devices, including mobile, tablets, computers and televisions
• Exceptional communication skills

Requirements:

• Must have knowledge of the full Adobe software suite, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects
• Must have experience building production graphics
• Experience developing graphics for various delivery devices
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• In-office position, required to be on-site

• Experience with network launches
• Experience working in the financial services industry or producing finance-related content
• Knowledge of investing and trading stocks
• Photography/Videography experience
• Ability to travel when needed
