Loan Processor/Funder

San Jose marine and RV financing company seeks a Loan Processor/Funder to join their team. $30-45/hr DOE. This is a contract-to-perm role.

Overview: As a Loan Processor/Funder (specializing in boats and RVs), you will play a crucial role in accurately and efficiently processing and funding loan applications for marine and recreational vehicles. This position requires a customer-centric approach, as you will be directly interacting with sources/partners and members to develop and maintain positive relationships. Additionally, you will provide support to the team as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Review loan documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate loan closings with external third-party sources/partners.
• Ensure complete loan packages are uploaded to the internal origination platform.
• Maintain detailed logs and notes in loan files.
• Verify loan terms and transaction details to ensure completeness before finalizing the loan.
• Communicate with members to validate transaction details and repayment information.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of all products and services offered.
• Establish new memberships within the origination platform as necessary.
• Disburse funds through the core portfolio system.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including security compliance and risk management.
• Stay informed about local, state, and federal laws/regulations related to lending practices.

• Experience in sales and transactional processing, preferred.
• Previous experience in indirect or external lending, preferred.
