Lube Technician

Due to growth Baxter Auto Group is looking for a Lube Technician, who are qualified technicians with a basic understanding of vehicle systems to assist our customers and provide quality maintenance and service to each and every Baxter Auto customer.

Responsibilities:

• Receive repair orders.
• Inspect vehicle to ensure other areas are in working order. If not, the Express Technician will inform the Service Advisor.
• Duties include, but are not limited to, oil changes, tire rotations, tire repairs, fuel filters, wiper blades.
• Ensure all equipment including lifts, compressors, tools, etc. are in proper working order.
• Complies with all safety regulations pertaining to disposing of MSDS, and other hazardous materials.
• Attends quarterly safety training updates.
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Ensure the customer's car is kept clean.
• Ensure the working area is kept clean and in working order.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experienced is preferred
• Good Judgement
• Must perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age and able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and physical

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

May be exposed to chemicals and fumes within the other departments. Must be able to stand, move or sit for a long period of time. May be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
