Building Maintenance

Express is recruiting for a Building Maintenace Position for a Property Management company located in Buffalo, Ny. This company is a leader in affordable housing development and has been in business for over 20 years.

1st Shift: (Monday-Friday) 7a-3:30p or 8a-4:30p

Payrate: $18.00-22.00/hr BOE+

Key Responbilites:

• Schedules, coordinates, monitors and performs all Maintenace, service requests, & repairs at the employees designated sites.
• Documented daily Maintenace activity including problems encountered, work completed and vacancy updates.
• Performs, monitors, inspects and conducts evaluations with Community Manger in order to prepare apartments for move for future tenants.
• Track and keeps documents available regarding utility, shut offs, meter locations, sewer clean outs & building systems.
• Responsible for Trash Removal, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, & wiping down areas.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of construction site management.
• 5+ years' experience related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC & Building Sytems.
• Have knowledge of USDA, HUD,REAC, DHCR or other regulatory agency state inspections
• Must possess a Valid Driver's license & New York State motor Vehicle Insurance.
• Must Possess Mechanical Aptitude.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to walk, move & transport up to 100lbs
