This role is crucial for developing and maintaining the user interface of our regulatory application processing system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with a focus on creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that allow users to submit permit applications and receive status updates seamlessly.
**Responsibilities: **
- Design and develop the front-end architecture of our application processing system.
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring responsiveness and seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with the backend team to define and implement RESTful APIs.
- Implement responsive design for mobile, tablet, and desktop environments.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Contribute to code reviews and maintain code quality.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
**Qualifications: **
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with React frameworks and libraries is a must.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Gitlab.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
**Preferred Skills: **
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, S3).
- Familiarity with Python for backend development.
- Knowledge of cloud-based development and deployment practices.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
