Registered Nurse / RN EP Lab

Responsibilities:

• Hiring Insights
• Duties include but are not limited to the patient assessment, administration of medications, moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and circulating during EP procedures and other procedures scheduled in our invasive procedure labs.
• This individual is able to demonstrate clinical expertise in working with electrophysiology patients during invasive diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology, and device implantation procedures.
• Performs pain assessments and intervenes to optimally meet patient’s needs for comfort.
• Plans clinical care based on patient’s needs and uses available resources.
• Performs clinical care in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Performs peripheral venipuncture and peripheral and central vascular access care according to policy & procedure.
• Develops a patient centered plan of care based on individualized needs.
• Performs nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrates quality, safe and effective patient care.

Credentials:

• Registered Nurse – NY (Required)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

• Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
• Nursing Training in hemodynamic monitoring and EKG interpretation
• 2+ years Experience in critical care nursing, and Cardiac Cath Lab
