Production Lead

AirPro Diagnostics is a leader in providing diagnostic solutions to the automotive repair industry. We are seeking a positive and professional individual with a passion for cars as a Production Lead in our manufacturing department.

Job Summary: LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

Assists Production Manager overseeing the Assembly Department to ensure optimal operating results. Responsible for ensuring production requirements are met daily. Provides guidance to efficiently produce high quality work while meeting customer delivery schedules and cost objectives. Hours may vary based on business needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assists Production Manager while working alongside team members on the assembly line ensuring that all processes are efficiently and in accordance with industry best practices maintaining high-quality standards
• Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to production staff
• Seeks continuous improvement opportunities and work with leadership to implement solutions
• Maintains flow of production line assuring inventory is available
• Provides production schedule updates ensuring adequate scheduling of staff to Production Manager
• Manages all materials and product for incoming and outgoing shipments and disposition of products, and rotating product inventory
• Maintains reporting related to production and inventory through the use of excel and database systems
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

• 2-5 years of progressive operations experience in a fast-paced assembly distribution environment
• Mechanical and electrical assembly experience preferred
• Proficiency in the use of powered and non-powered hand tools and in electrical assembly
• Ability to measure and use proper assembly techniques to insure damage free installation of component parts
• Attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
