Hino Motors Manufacturing is an OEM that assembles trucks in West Virginia, automotive components in Arkansas, and operates a parts distribution center in California.
We are currently seeking a Human Resources & Administration Specialist for our Corporate Headquarters located in Novi, MI reporting directly to the Manager, HR & Administration. This individual will be responsible for all HR Administration activities at the Novi location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post new job openings and repost existing positions to HRIS system
- Review and screen resumes and schedule interviews
- Track and report candidate and recruitment updates
- Create & maintain reports and manage recruiting KPI’s
- Administer background check and drug screen processes post offer
- Collaborate, assist and support Sr. Recruiter with all the above tasks
- Conduct New Hire Pre-boarding activities; assemble new hire packages, verify and validate New Hire checklist items are completed for Day1 onboarding, create new team member personnel files
- Conduct New Hire orientation training
- Collaborate, assist and support Payroll team with administrative payroll duties.
- Administer company vehicle program
- Maintain and manage carpool vehicles
- Performance Evaluation System administration
- Learning Management System administration
- Travel and expense system administration
- Corporate Invoicing: Process, audit, and create reports for accounting
- Support policy administration
- Co-lead HMM events committee
- Maintain HMM events calendar
- Assist with company cell phone program
- Maintain organizational and seating charts
- Process business card orders
- Order and maintain office supplies and company giveaways
- Create and order employee name plaques, and access badges
- Coordinate quarterly ordering of service awards
- Maintain and order facility office supplies
- Create & maintain reports and manage HR KPIs
- Monthly audit of IT user report
- Receive outside calls and transfer to appropriate person/department
- Other administrative related duties as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Associate's degree required (Human Resources or Business required). Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years Human Resource Administration experience
Skills Required:
- MS Office – Intermediate MS Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizing capabilities
