Maintenance Welder

Catapult is currently qualifying candidates for a long-term Maintenance/Machine Welder opportunity located in Cincinnati, OH. The Maintenance Welder should have 2-3 years experience with mig, tig, and torch.

Welder Essential Job Duties:

•Safely make repairs on all equipment as directed by the Supervisor

•Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment

•Ability to stick and Mig weld, air arc and torch

•Must have good fabricating abilities

•Inspect, measure or test completed work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications using measuring and testing devices

•Responsible for documenting all work for tracking in company equipment maintenance program.

Qualifications and Experience of Welder:

•Welding certificate required

•Must be trained in lock out tag out

•1-2 years of field experience

•Ability to read blueprints, work orders or production schedules.

•Knowledge of clean-up and disposing of spills properly

Physical Requirements for Welder:

•Ability to lift 50 lbs.

•Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, turn, lift, push and pull

•Ability to work in a horizontal or vertical position as needed

•Must be able to tolerate outdoor elements

Environmental Requirements of Welder:

•PPE required

•Training in capturing and containing spills

•Exposed to outdoor elements
