MUST:
8+ years of experience as a Pharmacist
Experience creating care plans for chemotherapy patients and evaluating data for best protocol
4+years of experience working in the oncology field
Strong IV's skills
Experience supervising pharmacy techs
Ability to prepare IV bags
Strong documentation skills and experience working with EMR
Strong knowledge of chemotherapy drugs and treatments
Licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of Maryland

DUTIES:
Oversees pharmacy care
Handle patient evaluations, care plans and treatment plans
Recommend drug therapies based on disease
Evaluate data for patient therapy to optimize treatment plans and change therapies as needed
Train staff on preparing, dispending and ordering of medications
Work with patients to optimize drug therapy based on histories and data
Look for adverse reactions and complications with various drug therapies and change treatment plans as necessary
Provide patient and family education regarding various drug therapy.
Develop standardized drug orders and utilize for process of ordering drugs
Performs Quality Assurance checks medication orders
