Procurement & Inventory Manager

Empire Technological Group DBA Aruze Gaming Global is looking to add a Procurement & Inventory Manager to our team!

• Develop and execute procurement strategies in line with company goals and budgetary constraints.
• Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong vendor relationships.
• Responsible for maintaining high visibility of inventory and identifying inventory overages with ‘plan of action’ to ensure proper levels of inventory and materials.
• Develop and implement programs for standardization of processes, cost reduction, forecast data and continuous improvement in collaboration with other organizational leaders.
• Qualifies vendors, evaluates bids, and negotiates prices and terms for purchased goods and services.
• Tracks purchases, monitors vendor quality, and maintains a current database of vendor information.
• Collaborate with materials/production management to ensure on time shipment while maintaining targeted inventory levels.
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
• Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
• Control spending and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement.
• Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of all product types and variations, including knowledge of known technical issues which impact quality of product.
• Establish yourself as a knowledgeable leader who utilizes good judgement when issues arise or are made visible.
• Responsible for maintaining visibility and communication with senior Production staff and adjacent departments.
• Perform root cause analysis on issues affecting product quality.
• Ability to interface with different cross functional groups utilizing information to address closure.
• Ability to establish processes and procedures focusing on product quality.
• Other duties as requested and /or assigned.

Skills / Abilities:

• Minimum of five to eight years of related experience in gaming and purchasing gaming devices
• Proven working experience as a procurement manager, procurement officer or head of procurement.
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
• Talent in negotiations and networking
• Good knowledge of supplier or third -party management software
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment with strict deadlines and pressure from both internal and external demands is advantageous.
• Proficient in business systems, including MS Office (Access, Excel, Word) and ERP Systems (MAS 500, SAP, etc.)
