Certified Welding Equipment Repair Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Equipment Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must have valid Miller Repair Tech or Lincoln Repair Tech factory certification, as they will be responsible for repairing welding equipment and various electronics involved in the welding industry.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot welding equipment to identify malfunctions or defects
- Conduct repairs on welding machines, power sources, wire feeders, weld guns, and related electronic components
- Replace faulty parts or components using appropriate tools and techniques
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance standards are met
- Document all repair activities accurately in service reports or computerized systems
- Provide technical assistance and support to customers regarding equipment usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures

Requirements:
- MUST possess either Miller Repair Tech or Lincoln Repair Tech factory certification
- Proven experience in repairing welding equipment and associated electronics is preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, schematics reading/diagram interpretation
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as multimeters oscilloscopes etc.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
Strong verbal communication skills
