SUMMARY
The Team Lead Therapist Inpatient provides direct patient care services for physical medicine rehabilitation patients from age 15 upward and directly supervises clinical staff within their assigned program. The Team Lead Therapist demonstrates accountability for and contributes to evidence-based program development, quality improvement, problem solving, competency assessment, performance evaluation and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs duties and tasks of a licensed therapist (PT, OT, SLP), providing comprehensive and accurate patient assessment and treatment within established time frames.
- Prepares diagnostic records, clinical documentation, discharge reports and maintains progress records and other documentation per policy.
- Provides clinical supervision, including but not limited to, coordination of care and delegation of duties to assistants, techs, and students in collaboration with Therapy Coordinator and Education Coordinator
- Provides direct supervision of clinical staff within their assigned program - including participation in hiring, orientation, staff development, provision of ongoing performance feedback, ongoing competency assessment and evaluation of staff.
- Assists in program development of assigned program including identification of needs, design and implementation.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Current active Indiana licensure
- Three (3) years of clinical experience
- Experience in clinical supervision in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
HOURS: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
