Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CPA eligibility is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a tax-related position at a public accounting firm.
• Experience with individuals, partnerships, and S corporations preferred.
• Familiarity with 1040 forms and review processes.
• QuickBooks proficiency is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Pay meticulous attention to detail throughout the tax preparation process.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors (both verbally and in writing).
• Organize, prepare, and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S corporations.
• Understand complex tax issues and apply them to client situations and transactions.
• Deliver high-quality work products.
• Contribute to tax planning and research for intricate tax matters.
• Mentor and supervise entry-level staff and interns.
