Quality Inspector

Rocktech Systems is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. We specialize in high precision machining and are seeking an individual who has a basic understanding of cnc machining and quality inspection. Must be motivated, flexible, and detail oriented.

Job Description: Inspects products and components to assure they meet defined standards. Operating and utilizing precision tools to perform measurement, inspection, and testing of production materials and components.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauge pins to check quality.
• Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
• Perform final inspection of out-going product
• Check dimensions against a blueprint to ensure accuracy and customer specifications
• Fill out quality control documentation
• Assist in floor production

Qualifications:

• 2 years of quality inspection and a basic knowledge of CNC machining
• Associate degree or some technical training (preferred)
• Skilled in the use of micrometers, slide calipers, indicators, and gages
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Excellent math skills
• Ability to pay attention to detail
